Agile/Scrum and traditional (waterfall) methods of development and delivery both involve planning followed by forms of execution, monitoring and controlling. However, there are significant distinctions. To help relate key differences, eight side-by-side comparisons were created. In alphabetical order, they are communications management, cost management, integration management, quality management, risk management, scope management, team management (some refer to this as human resources management), and time management. The comparisons were presented earlier via individual posts in this blog.

This article is a recap. It lists all of the comparisons and provides links to the respective posts where further details are available. Here they are:

Communications management

Cost management

Integration management

Quality management

Risk management

Scope management

Team management

Time management
